What you can report

Signs and rules

Unclear or conflicting signs, time limits, permit requirements, or zone codes.

Payment problems

Problems with parking apps, machines, payment instructions, or the wrong zone.

Parking ticket or private charge

An issued charge can be reported with its amount, date, and an optional private photo.

Other parking issues

Temporary restrictions or other conditions that may help the next driver.

Sweden has two different types of parking charge

Parking ticket (parkeringsanmärkning)

Normally issued by a municipality or the police for violations on public streets. The charge is administered by the Swedish Transport Agency.

Private parking charge (kontrollavgift)

Issued on private land by the landowner or a parking operator when the landowner's parking conditions have not been followed.

How reporting works

  1. 1

    Mark the location

Place the pin where the event happened.

  2. 2

    Describe what happened

Choose the reasons, date, and whether a charge was issued.

  3. 3

    Add evidence if useful

A photo is optional and remains private for moderators.

  4. 4

    Submit for review

The report receives a clear status before contributing to the public risk picture.

Your identity is not shown with the report

Reports are anonymous by default. Photos are used only as private evidence and should not be published with registration numbers or personal information.

ParkRisk is not an appeals service

A ParkRisk report does not replace an appeal or contacting the municipality, police, landowner, or parking operator. Check the notice you received for the correct recipient and deadline.

Help build a clearer parking map

It takes only a few minutes, and you can report without creating an account.
